The course demands both length and accuracy. For example, the 570 yard second hole requires three well struck shots while the 90 yard fourth hole is short yet requires a very precise tee shot. The best hole on the course is the 386 yard seventh hole which requires a long and accurate approach to a green fronted by a beautiful spring fed pond.
Trees, sand and water all come into play at Forest Hills. many of the holes are bordered on at least one side by mature trees. The fairways rate among the very best in the province and are extremely lush.
